With a 250hp Saltwater series 2 Yamaha 2stroke Electronic fuel injected engine with new injectors 5 years ago . Total hrs on outboard 490hrs. New spark plus new water pump and impeller just replaced along with a full service.
The 250hp Saltwater series 2 engine is the original V-Six 76degree engine Yamaha has now gone back to for all new V6 engines now manufactured. The Electronic Control Module cuts out two cylinders below 2000rpm to reduce exhaust emissions & save fuel. WOT 43.5knots or 80.5km @ 5400rpm using 107lt hr . The ECM also enriches the air/fuel ratio for cold starting and electronically advances the ignition timing as needed.
The precision blend varies the fuel/oil ratio from 50:1 at (WOT) right down to 200:1 at DST and injects oil directly into the crankcase. Oil is pumped up from a 10.5lt in-boat tank to a 0.9lt undercowl unit as needed. Should the oil level in the boat tank fall below the minimum level, engine revs will be reduced automatically.
Fully rebuilt and strengthened underfloor using woven rovings adding strength from the inside. She also had a new deck replaced 5 years ago . New 4mm aluminium baffled underdeck fuel tank . With 444lt capacity. Gunwales and side underdeck sandwich foam filled . Paint is Jotun 2 pac. The hull has been undercoated 7 layers and topcoated 4 layers with Jotun Optima with a center keel strip of ceramic paint.
Electronic are Furuno 1150 Sounder with the ability to make your own seafloor charts. 2x2kw transducers .One shoot through hull the other set as a drop down aft for deep drop . Or shallow fishing using the shoot through . Both transducers are set in food grade propylene glycol that will not harm rubber and will reduce heat .Along with no bubbles . So always a clear sounding .
